DESCRIPTION: New England Watch Co., Waterbury, Conn., "Dan Patch Stop Watch", chronograph, 16 size, 7 jewels, stem wind and set nickel plate movement, with lever escapement and cut bimetallic balance, in a yellow gold filled, hinged back and snap bezel, reeded edge, open face case, the back engraved with a portrait of Dan Patch, and Arabic numeral, white enamel dial and blued steel spade hands, serial #17110, c1910
CONDITION: CASE: Shallow dent in back; Minor scratches on outer surface of case; Minor scratches on crystal; Bow with minor brassing. DIAL: Spider hairlines, edge, at 4:00, 11:00; Scratches minor to dial. HANDS: Good, chronograph hand painted white. MOVEMENT PLATES: Minor scratches on plate; Scratches on winding wheels; Minor losses to plating; Screw heads marred. MOVEMENT FUNCTION: Running order (winds, sets and ticks). COMPLICATION FUNCTION: Functions properly.
